I just made the sugar cookies and THEY ARE SO COMPLETELY AMAZING!! I only made a few changes: I left out the lemon zest because the only lemon I had was in my fridge, already zested, and I replaced 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar with brown because I ran out (I’m unprepared). I also found that they were done after 10 minutes, not 15. They didn’t need any icing or anything, they’re just really, REALLY good cookies.

FINE! i will do it. i will come home late tonight from the restaurant, turn on some crime show or lord of the rings and make these beautiful chocolate chip cookies you’ve been talking about. my soldier will receive them and if they’re as good as you’re promising them to be, i will consume the rest. thanks a lot.
